The fiery pelted brujo landed roughly in the darkened terrain. Flame wings disipating on impact. Gazing upon the lands, he smirked, pleased with the untouched patch of earth.
Shaking his odd colored pelt, he stretched and snapped at the air to get his jowls loose. After getting his muscles loose, he stood up straight and decided not to make a howl of claim. But, if anyone would to come, they would catch his scent.
Padding around his newly claimed land, he became even more pleased. Finally getting done with his own tour, he set his haunches on the ground. A small yawn escaped from his mug, from weariness of his long day. 'Well, I am now the Dark Lord. Now, anyone who may come, shall be burnt alive without permission.' he thought while watching over his lands from a cliff.

The vixen quietly made her way into the damned and lands. This certainly was the road less traveled, and of course Ebony basked in this uncertainty, in this forlorn and hopeless island of death and despair. The waters of fear and blood kept out lights, neutrals, and persuaded darks to ford deeper into its fiery pits within. Now having crossed the boarder improperly (by lack of an enterance howl) she continued her treading deeper and deeper into the bare woods. The trees seemed dead to look at, and she knew that this was her domain, this was where she wanted to rule. But why not Hell? For certainly someone so cold, so chilly to even look at could be content in no other terria than the sulphuric tombs of Hell itself. Naturally Ebony had been tempted by the thoughts of torturing souls for eternity, but she knew that she was mortal and would die upon this earth eventually. After that Hell wouldn't be safe from her clutches, but until then... no mortal was safe from her clutches.
The bows of trees and ferns loomed ominously over her, as if they knew something she didn't. Perhaps that these lands already had a ruler? Little they knew. The dame's footsteps were soft, quite, but so confident and sure. She knew what she wanted and how to get it, the game was hers to play at her leisure. Ebony could take as long as she felt like, or snatch up the rank right away. Hardly anything depended on anyone or anything else. That's how the oreo femme liked to be. Independent. She didn't need a ruler, a mate, pups, affection to be perfectly happy. As odd as it seemed, she really didn't even victims to inflict pain or misery on, though it certainly was a perk. She prided herself on being independent of anything and everything, short of food and water. This, however, was not to be confused with not wanting anything. She did desire a mate, a rank, pups (maybe), and of course, those below her to exert anger or moody emotions. While she was independent until she had to be, once she was mated that was it. A loyal follower to the end, she could only assume this would be the case. Her mother had the same genes, as did her sister and brother (for some odd reason she noticed this).
She returned her mind to the matter at hand, 'Meet the alpha,' She reminded herself. She didn't feel like becoming powerful all at once, but rather making a game out of flirting and such. She gave herself airs, but only because she knew she could fulfill what she was set out to do. Finally she reached the "middle" of the damned lands and the wench decided this a keen place to finally make her entrance howl. 'Late though,' She thought, a cruel smile twisting its way upon her mug. Finally her throat and nose were pointed upwards, a beautifully horrible song was emitted from her caverns. Odd though, for while it was pleasing to listen to something about it was wrong. As if there was some hidden, terrible, immensely wrong message beneath all the initial pleasure. She might have been obsessed with this howl, but she loved masks and deception. She, as a pup, had found herself practicing this howl as well as different voices, emotions, facades, and other means of manipulation. She used her brother heartlessly as a victim for experimenting different ploys and testing her elements. (Never fear though, he always returned the favor).
Now she realized, annoyed, that there was nothing to do but wait. Once more, she had to wait for the alpha to approach her and make his statements. Most likely he would be angry with her for breaking the rules, but Ebony never listened to rules and made a sport of breaking them. She turned emerald eyes around at her new surroundings, the trees seemed to reach the black sky over head. Nearly blocking out the glowing moon above them. Their leaves were few and falling, although 'twas not the season. 'But it's fitting for these lands,' She thought knowingly. Anything less would have been disapointing.
'Come on Dark Lord, you wouldn't keep a Lady waiting would you?' She asked herself, silently mocking the brute about to approach her.

The lord of the damned lands watched skillfully over every inch of his lands. He knew he was far more than ready to be the lord, and he knew he would soon kill his siblings as he did his father. Smirkings as he looked across the lands, he saw a dark figure moving about it. Eyes flaring with flames, he knew this was going to be interesting.
Jumping from his cliff, he landed roughly as the intruding fea made her howl. Rolling his eyes as she finally made her howl, he moved closer. Getting to the point where he could finally see her, he stretched once more and then strode out in the open.
Getting behind of her, he sat his haunches onto the ground and gazed at her. Hearing her last thoughts, he chuckled devilishly and smirked. Well, whos to know if I should or not. Depends on her reason to intrude on my lands. he spoke harshly, but that was his normal tone. Waiting her responce, he gazed at her seeing if she was fit to be here. Deciding she was, he just had to wait her reason.

Her nares finally caught whiff of the lord. Of course she had been smelling him since her entrance in his lands, but now it was fresh and close. She couldn't tell if she favored his scent, or disliked it. She decided simply to endure it for now, she'd judge it later. The king bounded down from rocks, the oreo fae's auds caught the pebbles and boulders falling from cliffs as his mighty paws touched them. He was getting closer, and soon she would be able to see him. In that brief moment, perhaps she held her breath. Would this lord be worthy or ruling for even a short amount of time? Or would he be too disappointing to even consider ruling the damned? Finally waiting was at an end and green eyes laid sights on the Lord of the Darks. Of course, at first she was startled (although she didn't show it). Coming up behind her... she heard him, but still...it wasn't expected. Normally brutes wanted to seem powerful and dominant and approach from the front. To show off their size and muscle. She could almost smirk at this new tactic. She smoothly turned to face her 'lord'.
She made initial critiques and compliments on his figure. To his credit he seemed strong enough for her taste, at least he wasn't a sniveling weakling. No, he at least had some muscle when it would come time for a fight. For some odd reason, she also liked his pattering. None of the ordinary pure black or pure gray. No, he had some color to him and while this wasn't necessarily an attribute to his ruling skill, she liked it nonetheless. She felt she had made enough judgments, without him opening his yap, for now. So she heard his question.
"Telepathic," She murmured, why bother thinking it if he'd only listen in anyway? "And what if she should say she was here to ask permission to join this one wolf pack, and perhaps later find a more appealing rank and then perhaps obtain a mate and pups in their own due time?" She asked, returning his smirk with a glitter of amusement in her olive eyes.

Watching her carefully, he smirked as she turned. He knew that his way of an entrance was different, but he liked that fact. Instead of being a show off, he let others decide wether or not he is strong enough. And most thought he was.
Hearing her speak, he nodded his head in answer to say he could read minds. Shifting his paws after his legs getting stiff from holding them so strieght for so long. Eyes shifting only slightly seeing leaves shift from the wind, and rodents scurrying away from the two predaters in their midst.
Hearing her answer his question, he smirked. Ah, you have a plan for the future. And very foward about it by coming here instead of going to the claiming grounds. Well, for one, you may stay. And about the other, who knows. The future will, for now, remain a mystery to me and you. he spoke then looked around once more then back to her.
So, what is your name fea? he asked with his same harsh tone, but it seemed now a little more relaxed than threatening.

A few rodents caught the corner of her eye, but she didn't bother to turn and face them. Why should she care about a rabbit and a squirrel? She wasn't hungry, for she wasn't sure if she would have to fight anyone for the right to stay here and she thought it better if she didn't take that chance on an empty stomach. Leaves fell, and she wondered if the trees would all die before winter even hit them. 'Stil though,' Then she remembered the telepathic in her midst, but she realized that these were not especially personal so she didn't do anything about them. 'Surely there's something to keep the trees from dying...being dark, dead lands and all,' She wanted to find out, but decided she would now in due time. "A plan?" She asked him, chuckling ever so slightly, "I have no plan, I have an outline. I'm afraid mysteries outweigh the certainties...but seeing as neither of us are physicic I do the best I can," She replied smoothly. Plans were always ruined, and she assumed she had just laied ou the fundamental wolf-life outline. Nothing too exciting in her future except the rank gaining. What else did a maiden have to live for? And some (light) females didn't even work at gaining a place in society. 'Sad little creatures really,' She scorned lazy beings who were content at being simply members. Of course she knew you had to have members to have a pack, but if ranks were open...why not shoot for them?
"But yes, as for now," She replied to his future comment. Secretly noticing how he wasn't a physic. She now only had to wonder at his other five elements. But, he had to ponder at hers as well...
"I suppose my given cursing is Ebony. Though I've never held a soul to call me by it," She told the brute. "Might I have a name for the brute in my presence?" She asked him. Her voice chilly, but more clever than vicious.

Faye winced slightly as she moved across the barren lands, darkness spread all around her and she felt evil lurking unseen in the shadows. Her eyes, fearful yet wide open, darted around the lands in search of another wolf. She found no-one and just as she moved closer into the lands, she slipped in the mud under her white and violet paw. Her legs splayed out from under her and her face splattered into the muck, her clean coat was now completely dirty and a small whimper struck the air.
Carefully, she climbed back to her feet and looked around once more, and yet again she found nothing until she moved deeper into the lands where she saw the Dark Lord and another female. "Papa is dead and so is mama." Faye sighed and barked to tell the other two that there was a whelp in their lands, since she was assuming these two were mates, and sat down.

Coen took a closer glance at the fea before him, taking in every color and outline. Then, listening to her speak, he smirked amuzed at how inteligant she was. Nodding his head to neither being phsycic, he smirked. Ah, but the mysteries are the fun part my dear. he spoke chillingly, but he was being slightly amuzed by this one conversation.
Hearing her thought about lights, he smirked even more. 'I completely agree.' he spoke back to her through his mind. Ah, his spirit powers were now proving very useful. He knew that not all who controlled spirits could read minds, but he was one of the lucky ones. Listening to her actual voice, he nodded his head in agreement once more that they should get back to buisness.
Hearing her name, he nodded his head to it and smirked to what she spoke next. But I will call you by it. And as for me, I was given the name Co-... he started but was inturupted by a young puppish voice. Yes, he had known that she had been in the lands the entire time, but he didn't really care expecting her to either be attacked and killed or just fall over dead. Looking to the young fea, he smirked devilishly and his tone of voice matched as well. Ah, so Mama and Papa have died small one? Well, come here. And like I was saying earlier, I will fully introduce myself. I am Lord Coen, ruler over all darks and all those in my lands. he spoke then looked form Ebony then back to the pup.
Stepping lightly over to the pup, he looked down at it then laid down to be eye level with her. So young one, I must know your name if you wish to stay here. he spoke calmly letting the pup know he wasn't going to hurt her, but it still had that slight harshness in it, but it always would, I mean, he is dark. His words letting the pup know that she would be allowed to stay here.

Ebony had been quick witted, and knew that even in the seeds of his mind, it showed. She agreed with him, but said nothing until, startled, he spoke to her. 'Of course, what a memory I have,' She thought, knowing he would hear it. A telepathic? No, most likely some other refined element. She would figure it out, but knew better than to act too nosy, and so she kept her maw, and her mind, shut. Still, she let an approving twinkle spark her eye, and a nod tilt her head in his direction.
His name was about to be her profit, but then a whiny, young pup barged into their conversation. She held her tounge, and restrained her thoughts, but how she could have liked to scorn the pup for her rude and uncalled for entry. It was a difficult thing, keeping her mind free of all the thoughts she wanted to let loose, to dare to think. Yet there are some thoughts that are better left unread. "M'lord," Her voice was quiet, and she didn't fight for the spotlight in speaking. A light bow respected his rank, before a poisenous glare returned to the pup. She disliked pups, well, not particularly, I suppose dislike is the wrong word. Simply spoiled, little brats were all she thought of them. If she had ever had whelps, there would be none of this babying, this cooing that came with the 'adorable dearies'. She would learn them respect, pride, battle skills, and how to endure pain and survive on their own. Without the goo-goo language. Still, these thoughts were stored for another time...a time very far in the future.
It was not her place to speak (or think) aloud what she thought of the pup, so she held her tongue and watched as a new pack member was admitted to the lands.
